FAQ

Can I live in my home during the renovation?

Short Answer

You can often stay during minor renovations, but major structural work or full home renovations may require temporary relocation for safety and practicality.

Detailed Answer

Whether you can remain in your home during renovation depends on the extent of work being undertaken. Minor renovations like bathroom updates or kitchen makeovers often allow you to stay, though you'll experience some inconvenience and noise during construction hours.

Full home renovations involving structural work, major electrical or plumbing changes, or extensive dust-producing activities may require temporary relocation for safety and practicality. Projects affecting essential services like your main bathroom, kitchen, or electrical supply typically create the most disruption.

Curtis Construction works with you to minimise disruption wherever possible. We can often stage work to maintain access to essential areas, complete dusty work in contained sections, and schedule noisy activities during agreed hours. During our planning phase, we'll honestly assess whether staying in your home is feasible and help you plan accordingly.
